Wrenthorpe residents - garage security reminder.

A garage burglary occurred overnight on Monday 28 September at Eton Walk, Wrenthorpe where 2 Makita drills, 1 B98 electric hybrid bike and 1 Carrera Vengeance mountain bike were stolen.

Please take a moment to review your garage security and consider the following measures:

Door defenders/garage door blockers: These devices fit externally to the door and use a T‑bar restrictor with a quality lock to prevent forced entry.

Window security: If your garage has front or side windows, cover the glass to prevent visibility of stored items.

Alarm systems: If you have a home alarm, consider extending it to the garage, or use a standalone or battery‑operated sensor alarm.

Secure large items: Lock bulky items together to make them more difficult to remove.

Property marking: Mark your tools and equipment to improve the chances of recovery if they are lost or stolen.
